I don't think it's girls setting up one call and ghosting, I think they take multiple calls and go with the first guy to show up. Not saying it's good business practice but you asked "what do they get out of it" They are too stupid to realize if they didn't double book and gave better service they would get more repeats and not have to be so shifty.
