I feel like it really went downhill at the end of 2018. SESTA-FOSTA, BP Closure among others forced a lot of Pros to SA and thus a lot of the drama that comes with that.

That is around the time when I joined, and even then I have had a blast. True that there is a lot of weeding needed. Specially when you are new you are going to be contacted by pros disguised as SBs, and yeah there are a lot of girls that believe people would give them money for non-sexual activities. That being said SA is not for everybody, the YMMV factor is huge there, some people could have a blast while others could have a creepy experience, depending on your social skills, your looks, personality and your approach, if you come with a TNA mentality, treating them as escorts you are going to have a bad time. It also depends a lot on what you are looking for. If you are targeting late 20's to late 30's MILFs your experiences (and strategies) are going to be very different than if you are targeting hot young college girls.

It slowed down with the crisis. I usually pay the premium membership for a month or two, collect a whole bunch of leads and then let my premium expire for a couple of months and iterate.

While my premium is off I monitor how many messages I have gotten (since I can't read them) and if a super hot user has contacted sometimes that makes me pay the membership.

I have not paid the premium membership for a couple of months now and the number and quality of contacts I have gotten so far have been considerable lower that before this started, so yeah it seems this is not a good time to join.

That being said my three SBs from my regular rotation want to meet, but I as I am being serious about the self-quarantine I have not seen them in over a month (and no I would not give you their contact info ).

I really never had much faith at all in dating sites and although Seeking Arrangements is different I've never tried it.

So the question I have is. Is it still worth it?

I have a feeling that I missed the early golden days of that site, but as I have zero experience with it perhaps I'm wrong.

Anyone care to share their overall recent opinions as to whether or not someone like myself should try it?

I respectfully disagree. I think the difference with SA is that many ladies are looking to supplement their income or just looking for one or two guys that will give them money. They don't rent hotel rooms and try and see a bunch of guys like ladies on the other sites. They like to go to dinner; they like to try and build some sort of connection. They don't show up at your hotel at 11:00 and are walking out at 11:59. They don't hang up the phone after 30 seconds because you're "wasting their time". They are definitely different and it's why I won't ever use those other sites again. I will agree there are definitely providers on SA and I'm able to weed them out in all of 10 minutes (if they start asking about meeting within during the first convo, then they are just providers pretending to be SBs). For the women that I've seen, EVERY one of them would be beyond mortified if I gave some other guy their name and phone number and he tried to hit them up. If you told 90% of the ladies that I've seen that they were providers, they would be upset and shocked.

Saying that the ladies on SA are not different is like saying we guys are all the same and looking for the same thing. Yes, we all want to get laid (and the ladies all want money), but some of us want to find as many of the hottest, tightest thing they can find that will go BB in all holes and others may want to find one or two attractive ladies to chill with who aren't too demanding. Ladies on SA are just as different as we are.

I don't disagree with any of that. Read my first sentence again, it depends on the provider / girl / sb / whatever. As always, YMMV. My issue was the blanket statement that SA women NEVER are ok with being contacted. Some are, some aren't.

Clearly the SA women "think" they are different was my primary point and even though I play their game to get in their pants I don't think of someone on SA any differently than STG.
