No, they don't pay to advertise. All ads on EB come from MegaPersonals. Whomever runs EB just takes those ads and relists them broken up into different categories like 40+ and Max80. With a way to comment and leave reviews.

If a girl takes down her ads on MegaPersonals, everything disappears from the EB aggregation of those ads. Also, the guy who runs EB appears to have his own agenda.
