For the posts I listed "ppm," that means I think they are legit and that is their asking price. I don't mind paying that allowance once in a while, but don't want to pay that consistently, so I thought I would share. Enjoy.

So I've only been on seeking since October, and I've had a good amount of success, while running into some of the usual scams.

Girl who is in distress and needs money ASAP to pay a bill or get their car fixed.

Girl who says she can only know you are serious if you send her money before meeting.

Girl who plays up that she wants an arrangement and you talk for a while and when you are finally getting together and she is taking an Uber over she asks for you to send her money for the Uber cause she is broke. She won't accept an Uber to pick her up (dead giveaway is when she says my friends warned me not to do this bc of all the girls kidnapped from Uber. News never made public and how can I force Uber to do something outside of pickup and drop off).

I'll be honest and say early on and more times I care to admit, I've fallen for this or thought this time is different bc this girl and I have been talking for days and she shared all this personal info and mad pics, so why would she waste all of that time for $10, $20, etc.

It's got to be generational that a girl will waste hours of time and share a lot for personal info, just for a few bucks, when they were about to get hundreds of dollars.

Obviously, this will continue to happen, but I think we can work on thinning out the scammers if everyone reports each and every scam they encounter.

I believe it's against Seeking policy to sell content and I think they frown upon online only, so take a pic of your convo where the girl introduces the scam pitch and report them. Since the profile is blocked when I report it, I don't know how many or how often my reporting leads to a blocked user, but hopefully it doesn't take much. If 2-3 of us report a user it is bound to work.

Losing money is a pain in the ass, but the amount of time I've spent talking to these girls (and don't get me started on the ones that ghost after tons of back and forth messages) is insane. Although I do think the girls who ghost without explanation are also scams who catch on (or maybe feel guilty) and know they won't get money out of you.

Here's my experience. The impact on you depends on where you are. In Charlottesville, for example, coeds dominate the pool. In a place like D. C. , you have lots of students during the academic year, but also lots of students coming home for vacations / summer, plus interns visiting for the summer.

Good times for colleges are generally early in the semester. Students are back and getting acclimated. Bad times are exam periods--especially finals, but also midterms--and vacations. It depends on the school, but late August through just before Thanksgiving is good. Over Thanksgiving, students are away, and they are prepping for finals shortly thereafter. Then they go on break. Things pick up in mid-January and are good until fairly late April, when studying for finals intensifies. Spring Break has 2 effects--the pool is down when the students are gone, but many students are hard up for cash and really want to go somewhere fun with friends. There seems to be in influx of SBs in late February / early March and more willingness to negotiate. The pattern sometimes repeats at the end of the spring semester, as SBs need money for summer travel.

Avoid, avoid, avoid! This one keeps coming back with new accounts, but it's the same goddamn person who scams folks out of money right before cancelling at the last minute. I reported her multiple times and have uploaded our text logs as evidence to Seeking, who have usually been good about removing the accounts. Not sure why Seeking doesn't ban her / his IP address. Just look up "KylieLovesU" on these forums and you'll find everything you need to know.

Valid question. Often on here I see them called "scams" or just a waste of time because someone couldn't crack the code.

Watch out for this one. Chatted with her, and decided to meet at a hotel for drinks (with the understanding we would get a room). After chatting, she was nice but it was apparent there was not a lot of chemistry. I gave her $50 and told her I was not feeling it. As I walked away, I noticed a guy got up from across the lobby and came up to her and asked how much she got. Definitely dodged a bullet. I can't share her link as she immediately blocked me.
