I to received a threatening text either from a provider or friend of course didn't come from her number. Whoever it was must have realized what he did and started backpedaling.

You have to wonder if this was really the SCSO? It sounds wierd that they would take the time to track your information to that number and then call you with a warning. My guess is the threats were bad enough the police felt it necessary to warn him. They also wanted him to know they know who he is and what he's doing. My guess is Bing doesn't use a burner.
