Don't ever give a good description of your car or self prior. Be vague or outright lie about the vehicle. Drive around a couple time too and see if anything seems off. The few times I've done this I always do a couple spins the check the neighborhoods and even text back saying I'm having trouble finding the place and see if shell step out.
