Tried to set up visit yesterday morning and was sent to fake address. Person now demanding payment to be quiet. They found some personal info from net and keep sending texts saying they're going to stop by house or tell my job. I didn't even meet this person so nothing to really threaten me with, but just want them to go away. I gave into their request yesterday but now they are messaging again. Blocked number and then was hit with textfree app message. Blocked it too. You'd think they'd be content with the money I paid already but guess not.

First time this has ever happened. Any advice, fellas?

Couple things. Ignore them. They will likely go away.

Only way they found out who you really are is if you use your real phone or real email or send money electronically with your real name. Never do any of those things.

Use a burner phone or google voice or similar for all texts and calls, email for hobby only and never send money that can be traced to you.

I feel your frustrations man! I've had strike two, and I'd love to try three, but it's just not worth the trouble. I agree with everything you say about her / them (should) contact us if they cancel. They blow a gasket if we cancel, so that might be why they don't cancel. We get up, get things done so we can go meet up with a provider.
