While there is definitely more to be had in GVL than there used to be, I sometimes drive to JAX because GVL has nothing as good as Tai Chi (with Lily?) or Aja—or at least what those places used to be. GVL and Ocala seem about equal now, although GVL MTs are older and not as trim as the MTs at Ping's. Orlando tops them all in the north half of the state.

But, of course, YMMV and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I agree about pricing, but this something done by some of us who apparently have more money than brains. We need to establish rate list and stick to it. When they realize they are not going to get the golden goose they'll stop asking for it. The only place I've found worth the money and did not try to bargan is in Orlando. We need a shop like those here.
