Can someone help me to understand WHY in the FUCK would any monger give an escort money through a cash app?. Just why?. What purpose does it serve?. If said escort has your money through a cash app, does she keep it automatically or does the client have to release the money when the deed is done?. Someone help me out on this. It's a peer-to-peer (p2p) payment app, works just like Venmo or PayPal. No escrow feature, like you're suggesting (that would require some third party intermediary's involvement, like how eBay works). I suppose the reason a monger might agree to use it would be if they don't want to carry cash. Of course, that means you need to take your smartphone to your meet up, which you may not want to do (those things are expensive). You can still choose not to send the payment until after your meeting has concluded.

Other legit uses of a p2p payment app might be if you're buying content from one of these types that thinks she's a model / porn star (i.e. you're not meeting her in person, so you need an electronic way to make payment).

Risks:
- As a general rule, anyone asking for a DEPOSIT via a p2p payment app before setting an appointment is a scam.
- This is going to create an electronic trail of the transaction. Obviously you're not going to add a comment in the app like, "for a sloppy blowie!", but still.

Many girls won't take paypal or venmo (which is owned by paypal) because of their return policy. All a buyer has to do is say they never received the goods/service, and then it's up to the seller to prove that they provided the goods/service. If there's any doubt, paypal will always side with the buyer. Other apps (like CashApp), or cryptocurrencies (like Bitcoin) don't have policies like that, and once the money is sent it's gone for good. Paypal has also been known to seize all funds if they suspect any illegal activity is going on, which could be as simple as having multiple transactions in a short time without having a business account.

Do a search for paypal and escorts and you'll find lots of reports of this.

Just my thought I would never prepay in anyway with cash apps or paypal its not worth the trail it leaves IMHO cash only. I have used uber but that's not illegal to give someone a ride.
