I am a frequent follies visitor, I had to tip every time I was there. This weekend I even had to pay $. 3 to get in during afternoon.

Both you and the gentleman you replied to are correct. Follies usually does not have a "cover charge" during the day on weekdays, but the door girls expect "tips. ".

To illustrate:

One time, A guy went in before me. I entered as he was already paying. Apparently, he did not know what was going on so he just gave the girl a $20 bill and his driver's license preemptively. As I stepped in, I saw his license, apparently untouched by the girl, in the window slot, and she was counting out his "change. " She took the $20, handed him five $1 bills, and he had to reach and retrieve his DL, which she seemingly paid no attention to. I, on the other hand, then simply stuffed $1 in the tip jar and proceeded to the same "frisk and enter" that he was subjected to. A few seconds delay on his part could've saved him as much as $15.

So my buddy bachelor party was Friday night. We went a few different places but unexpectedly ended up at pin ups. Even though I had originally suggested it. I did not have the neccessary funds to participate because they had already shot the idea down. Anyway, I still enjoyed myself, the women in there are fucking fine. 5 dollar lap dances, closes at 8 am. 20 dollars parking, 20 entry fee. Thanks for the correction. I've only been in the club 3-4 times in the past 3 years but the last time was about a year ago and it was not good for me. It was around 8:00 on a Friday or Saturday and the mixed lady I had chosen for dances did not take her bottom off even after 2-3 songs and was holding a "prop" which she said was required and in her case it was a fan. She did tell me specifically that no touching was allowed and she brushed against me very lightly and rubbed my shoulders / chest / thighs etc. She pushed VIP to get nude. No doubt from your hundreds of visits you have relationships and also see what the normal service level might be. My sample size is tiny but on my visits (day visits on Friday / Sat) I only saw a couple AA ladies and they were busy. On my initial visits 3 years ago I did have all nude dances and the ladies were friendly but just not my type. I guess I had a bad YMMV experience and extrapolated. You mentioned Pink Pony. I have been many times and the dancers are mostly attractive. I was told no touching there as well but did it anyway. The dancer was fine with our level of mutual touch but the manager came and warned us to stop touching. Follies is unique but I get the almost the same experience (except the VIP) at other AA clubs. Yes, there are 2 situations when the table dance girls don't take their bottom off. Shooter girls are not allowed to take their bottom off in the main floor, even though they do give people a hot dance. Regular dancers sometimes don't take it off even though you remind them. You can complain to the bouncer or just get somebody else. The northern clubs tell the girls not touching. But if they are drunk or need money badly, they may take a chance with the bouncer. Some may do it discretely when the bouncer is not around. Pink Pony and Cheetah screen the new applicants more than Oasis. So the standard is more uniform. Oasis average quality is not as good as the other two, but it is getting close. As far as the prop is concerned, most of the clubs are fighting the cities in court. They have to show artistic values to allow them to serve drinks and stayed nude. I don't know what values what good is the fan, but the law is the way it is. Politicians don't have to make sense. They just to have get votes. We just have way too many lawyers around. Good luck to your partying and have fun. By the way, what is your type?

Well, it was no touch and not a full nude experience for me as well. My error in posting was not stating the time frame of the visit as you have. I should have prefaced my comment by saying my experience was based on a year or so ago. I have no idea why the few dancers I saw all had bottoms and were waving a fan or twirling an umbrella but the dancer told me it was a requirement. I commute 2 hours from SC because of the great strip club scene and I'm on the board to learn. The ladies and rules are constantly changing at all clubs and obviously my experience was not representative of what the regulars at the club experience now. So I guess your experience can be chalked up to YMMV and be left at that. Does remind my of a wonderful comment made to me by a pretty AA spinner at Blaze 3 months ago. I had danced her for several songs and she excused herself to freshen up. She returned and was dancing in my lap and twirling around for about 2 minutes when she leaned over and asked if she could dance for me. I said, I thought you already were. She replied "the song don't start until I'm naked". Well, by all means please get started. Apples and oranges between the clubs so I just gravitate to where I'm treated the best for the least. Went to Follies recently, as always a fun experience, after some dances, went VIP. 1. 5 $ service fee and $. 5 flat fee.

5. They have about 8 VIP rooms and in busy time, the wait time can be 2 hours. You have to ask yourself, why do people line up for their VIP rooms?

6. I have old friends who had worked in the club before and when I go out with them, they all turn heads wherever we go. Gorgeous.

7. The cost of getting a table dance from a quality girl in Oasis, Cheetah, Pink Pony is a real bargain. In other states, dancers from comparable girls is 20 and up for one dance on the main floor. In Japan, it is 50 per dance and mostly topless only.

Thanks for the clarification. That's kind of why I was checking with my post. As I said, I had been "out of the scene" for a while and was trying to see if my experience was unique or if it was just the way it was now. I will say I did see several attractive ladies there dancing, and as I mentioned in my earlier post one of them was precisely my type. Unfortunately, it didn't work out where I got much of a chance to talk to her. I had tipped her a couple of $5 bills when she was on stage, but by the time she got off stage I was otherwise engaged with someone else. Then she got tied up with someone else, and so forth. Just never worked out.

Oasis had some rule changes quite some time ago. Over a year. It's been discussed on this board many times but it relates to the local city ordinance I believe. There is no touching and its only topless.

But yes, the main reason I go is OTC prospecting. The state of escorts in Atlanta is so dire, it's just best to roll your own.

So, in terms of ROI, stripper mining has a high up front cost (probably at a minimum $300-400 for the first encounter), but then it levels off. And I've had a few who transitioned into fuck buddies for "free" (though as we know, "free" nookie is usually more expensive, long term).

One could probably set up OTC of this type with any number of service girls (I've considered people like Twin Peaks or Hooters girls, for example), and I've done a few Vietnamese nail girls (I'm pretty fancy, so I do the manicure thing from time to time), but strippers are perfect because you can basically order the exact specifications you want in terms of nipples, pussy form factor, etc. I'm picky!
