Yes, ads do routinely disappear.

If someone copies a picture from a publicly placed ad to put here, there's nothing at all questionable about doing it. The bots will have already grabbed the pics and reposted them on the indexing sites, anyways, so it's not like here would be the only other place the pics would show up.

It's a different matter if it's a UTR or a privately taking pic of, say, some action. Then, permission definitely needs to be gotten before posting the pic here.

But, at least if someone posts the ad link, it's possible that, even for a disappearing ad, someone here will recognize it before the ad goes away.

I'm all ears to hear what sort of innovative ways you think we should be sharing their descriptions?

I have done this twice. Once years ago and again recently. Both times it's worked out for me. Just be smart about who you do it for and keep your personal info out of it. That was, IMO, absolutely the right call on your part.

There are some girls that I would be alright doing that with, but not many. There are others that I would do it for, but only if I had seen them and knew they weren't high at the time.

One of the problems is that, if she legit doesn't have enough money to pay for the room, she's more likely to be in a particularly desperate situation. And people are more likely to do more extreme shit if they're desperate, like rob someone they might not have otherwise. Given that one of the main reasons she's likely to have spent all her money is because of the candy; high and desperate is a particularly bad combination.

The only time I got ripped off in the hobby was when I gave one girl money for a room when we met, and she just disappeared on me.

Some girls will try to use the "here, you can hold my purse (or phone) to make sure I come back" as a way to convince you. But then, you might end up with a dollar store purse with an empty crack vial and possibly a phone with a broken screen for your trouble and your money.

Thinking back on it, the one time I paid for a room myself was with a favorite of mine, and she was sober right then. She was under 25, so she couldn't get the room herself. I "checked in", we went and did the deed, and then I checked out. It's not a normal thing for me but I've done it for about ten providers throughout my 13-15 yr span of mongering.

One provider I got a room for was a known Greek Goddess who used to rule J'ville. The norm is to never trust a provider with room renting but she's treated me so well in the past that my not-so-better judgement made the call.
