In Chrome, you can right click the image and select 'search google for image'. If it comes up with anything but your lady's ads (instagram, porn sites, etc), it's probably fake. Also, if nothing comes up, be a little extra careful.

I have been using apps for the last 5-6 years, much cheaper (free actually) . Completely anonymous and very easy to change numbers whenever you need to ditch a profile and move to another. Technically it can be either another physical phone or an app but these days most people are talking about an app since the app is much more convenient than having a second phone and less obvious if you need to be discreet.
