It is as risky as any BBFS period. Periods don't make it any more or less risky. I have had sex with girls on periods but I used a cover at the time. It is always the same. I did not know I was on periods! TBH, girls are usually more horny and hot during periods so it was good fun!

The key is decreasing viral load. HIV can be found in other bodily fluids like saliva, but the virus load is so low that transmission is very difficult. That is why it is almost impossible to get it by kissing. Yes it can happen, if you have open sores in your mouth or gums, but unlikely. Blood on the other hand, has the highest viral load. You can have sex with an infected partner but you decrease viral load by wearing a barrier like condom. Now having bare sex when they are on their period has the highest viral load scenario, so your risks are that much higher. The only safe way to have sex during menstruation is if both of you are in a true monogamous relationship. I have done it many times with my ex-wife. During our wedding, her period suddenly started, and I fucked my sexy young bride non-stop for a whole bloody week of honeymoon. But not something I would do with a pro, with or without condoms.

Damn, it's been a while since I've heard of the holding the rubber technique. How recent was your visit? I remember looking into her a while back but didn't get back that she was nonGFE. That's good to know.
