I always try to tailor it a bit. Some of them are clearly looking for a financial arrangements (I'll be more direct with them) while others seem naive and young and giving things a try. I am a little more patient with those. Like you, I'm very cordial and respectful and I usually jump pretty quickly to the arrangement details. That usually cuts the crap and you can decide how to go from there. I have a 19 year old that is waffling. I'm being patient with her, because it's like wrangling a stallion. Oh. . . . to be with a 19 year old.

Always try to reference something in their profile. It's helpful.

I joined SA originally back in 2011 it just seems like I'm working harder now than in the past in terms of getting responses to initial messages. It could simply be the unfortunate and uncontrollable passage of time as I'm 47 now vs. Late 30's back then.
