Really appreciate your relating this story. I know all of us have had these run a rounds. Providers get dicked around a great deal by a plethora of texts from individuals who have no intention of visiting but just want to get free pics, ask absurd questions like (will you poop on me?) etc. One provider I am close to has disclosed that one day over a 16 hour span while hosting at nice hotel she was only able to see 5 visitors for a half hour due to no shows and nuisance texters wasting her time. That is why many of them double book and why some hobbyists double book, ask for 1 to 2 hours with no intention of visiting for more than a half hour.

Of course all this bull crap is greatly reduced by once finding several reliable providers developing a regular thing, and showing up on time.

Empathy is important. I don't know what it's like to be a provider. I can only imagine that it mostly sucks.

When I get ripped off, of course I want the perpetrators to feel some pain. And by ripped off, I mean more like, zero service after handing over the donation, with some element of threat / violence that makes me leave, typically a dude barging in.

Thankfully, for me, being straight up ripped off like that is a relatively rare occurrence.

Compared to how many times I've felt like it was truly worth it? Most of the time it's definitely not worth it. Time is money. For both the provider AND the hobbiest. Many of the women ask us to be responsible when scheduling. What could be more frustrating for them but to have a client back out at the last minute or ghost her. I get it. And so I've tried to be respectful of their time.
