I had one decent (5/6 out of 10) massage in there with standard handshake. Nothing more. Then I walked in there last year and the girl had the biggest cold sore I've ever seen. I turned and left. Never went back.

Two visits to this location.

Had a terrible experience last Friday. Tried to visit Sunrise and had a shit time. They took 60 for house, had me wait 20 minutes, shit massage for 5 minutes for "BBBJ" where all she did was inspect my goods and kiss it once or twice, then CFS where he hands were in the way of actual strokes, I'm not larger than avg and she wouldn't let me get more than 2/3 rds in. The Owner is a young 24 year old AA lady named Briana. She is about about 5'7" 130 lbs, slim to athletic but strictly business. Almost no personality. I had purchased the groupon in June and it expired because she was on maternity leave and honored it today. My expectation with a groupon is always no extras so I had no expectation of a happy ending. I arrived at very nice / clean studio at 13 and Northwestern 10 minutes before appointment and was greeted by house mom (Briana's mom) who brought me a water and asked me to have a seat in the lobby. Mom was in a office facing the lobby doing paper work, serving as the sentry / guardian LOL.

Briana came out and I could hear the baby cooing in the back room, She walked me into the massage room right off the lobby and asked the usual questions. Any problem areas, light or medium pressure? I reminded her the groupon was for deep tissue, and she told me to disrobe and assume the position.

My expectation was that this would be an unremarkable massage.

I was pleasantly surprised.

I must say, this was the most thorough, deep pressured, well technique massage I have had from any non-Asian provider, ever. There are only two Asian providers that I see regularly and she rivals them. The end of the massage was about a 5 minute neck massage, kneading, massaging, stretching my neck, back and shoulder. This, in short, was an awesome deep tissue massage. The groupon was $40 normal rate through massagebook is $65 deep tissue, $55 sweedish, and introductory massage is $50.

For a straight massage, no frills, I'll see her often.

Downside is there was not a hint of even "DIY". She was out of clean Hot towels so I didn't get the hot towel treatment. Otherwise I highly recommend for straight massage.

If you're talking about Magic on 8 Mile, I reviewed it a few weeks ago and I liked it. I don't have a big sample size of AMP experience, but I'll tell you what I know.

A few days before thanksgiving, Went to the place in Southfield, (see post 15692) I thought this was Tokyo's new location, but apparently she is still at some place in Redford. This is a few ex employees of Tokyo who are running things same as her. When I arrived there were 3 AA women (20's and 30's) and after my hour appointment there were 7 women in the small waiting room so apparently they have a decent selection of providers.

Same deal as Tokyo's; YMMV, depends on how you treat the provider and the money you bring in. I only went there the one time but I did the same act as before; told the woman at the desk I just wanted a basic massage and paid the minimum hour fee, and then once the provider came in I offered her more and got more. Got to be delicate about it because you don't want the main owner to know you're getting more than the basic massage because she is then missing her cut, but it's pretty pricy if you don't. For example; reverse massage where the provider looses the clothes is nearly $$, and then if you want some more than a reverse massage you're going to have to tip another $ or $$, thus you could end up paying out $$ if you don't play your cards right.

The standard hour was $ (or. 8 I can't even remember exactly) but then once in the room I tipped 1. 5 and got the whole kibob.

As far as looks go, seems a pretty broad spectrum of AA women, all were in pretty good shape, some had typical AA butts, other were more petite, so if you're into AA this would be worth checking out.

I have seen Lisa (aka Bella) and couple of times in the last few months at her place near Pontiac. Disappointed because I always had a good experience with Lisa.

I was victim of a similar treatment. Drove 40 min. To location but no response when I was near. Ghosted. She's aging and become very selective. GPS is setting in.
