Too many mongers forget we are paying for a provider's time and services. The good providers might make us feel special, provide the GFE. That's great, but don't forget the letter "E" stands for experience. It's not real. Think of her as the neighborhood bartender. You may get to know each other, perhaps very well, and she'll keep you happy. But at the end of the night you always pay and leave. Do you text the bartender sweet nothings before falling asleep or the first thing next morning? No. But if you see her tomorrow she'll be happy to serve you again, just like any other paying customer. The escort is no different.

Don't ever forget that. Two main reasons:

1) if you get confused you can appear like a stalker. When a good, independent escort feels like she's being stalked it ruins it for the rest of us. They get jittery. They ghost guys unexpectedly. They change phones and lose the text history for their "good regulars". Or they retreat / pull away from the hobby, move to a new city, take a new name or get "protection". Guys don't even realize they are doing it.

2) you risk being taken advantage of, especially from those providers who are doing this as their way of life or have habits. Those types will eventually fall into a bad situation and you'll be the one they call. Be it drugs, money, a place to stay, a sketchy favor, whatever. They will need something and if you don't come through they may have leverage on you. If you think it's real you will have let your guard down; shared your personal number, your real name, taken photos with her, poured your heart out in details of your marriage. Proceed with caution or it won't end well.

There are exceptions of course, but by and large whatever special relationship you think you have will likely be one sided. Over time you may consider her as a "friend", forgetting that that you pay to see her. To her you are a loyal paying customer. Don't lose sight of that. This isn't Pretty Woman. You aren't her White Knight.

All providers have stalker stories. Don't be that guy that takes it too far.

As Senior Member Arish pointed out, LEO can do some very shady things in prostitution and "John" stings. It may not result in getting a conviction, but for many Johns the damage is already done with an arrest and court appearance:

The following advice is debatable but I would say if a provider advertises with a naked picture or sends you one in correspondence then it is highly likely it's not LEO. It's against the law to use "pornographic" images of another without their consent, so I don't think LEO would risk their entire sting operation by possibly violating state / federal laws on Internet pornography. I'm no law professor, but that argument seems reasonable especially considering how many mongers reply to ads that don't include naked pictures. A LEO sting would be just as effective without having to post naked images online.

Likewise I find it highly unlikely a female officer would willingly publish nude pictures of herself online (especially if it included her face, and definitely not without a significant bump to her civil servant salary). So I say it's a safe bet if you get a naked picture of a woman and that same woman answers the door, you are good to go.

But that's not to say a legit provider has to give nudes to prove she's not LEO. Many low volume providers won't ever show their face or provide nudes for the same reasons you wouldn't. But for the strictly risk adverse, stick with the known providers.

For the unknown provider, follow all other precautions once you agree to have a date. Circle the block looking for suspicious vehicles and don't park right in front of the address. Beware of multiple providers operating out of a residence and / or those that include drug activity. Men coming and going from a residence all through the night will be reported as nuisance and get LEO's attention.

"John" stings more than likely will operate at low budget motels with external entries because cop budgets are minimal, it provides an easy "raid" entry and serves as a visual deterrent in a common prostitution area. The John stings are meant to be a deterrent so it will be in areas of other criminal activity. Operating a sting out of a vacation or business type of hotel doesn't have the same impact on the community and will in fact hurt the hotel business. So you can bet the nicer hotels with lawyers won't support it.

If you enter a motel with an adjoining room, make sure that door is locked before you say anything more than "hello". Nothing good will walk through that adjoining room door so if it's unlocked, leave. Try not to talk about services in person until sexual contact has been initiated. Negotiations for $ and time can done prior via text without explicit talk. Let her initiate sexual contact or get naked before any explicit talk.

If you did negotiate via text, don't bring your phone with incriminating evidence on it. Leave it in your car and park far away if it's safe to do so.

After reading the MCL on this, I found the point of interest. If you're access to the internet, via phone etc, is only accessible by a password, that you have, then you're the one responsible for the use of it. However: if you disable the password before you go into a location, then anyone could have used it and your lawyer can argue that point.

Keep in mind. The main rule of law is. Its not what they know, it's what they can prove. Rule 2. Shut the f* up! Never say shit and know you're rights.

Thanks to mongers who diligently upload pictures (tip of the cap to Wolverines), you can visually search the GR forum for pictures of a provider you may have questions about. This is especially helpful to find reviews of nameless escorts or those using an unsearchable 3 letter nickname. This technique only shows reports with pictures.

A number of provider ads will list credit cards as acceptable payment or require some type of screening. Giving your credit card directly to a provide sounds like a bad idea, however some higher class escorts may require screenings or even a deposit. But those escorts would need to have verifiable reputable reviews before you consider giving up personal information or deposit.

Been mongering for about 20 years. Was active on Scorpsguide and this forum when it was part of wsg. I've NEVER read a positive comment from anyone who submitted a creditcard to see a hooker. P411 is a verification service, similar to Date Check. Guys have to pay to be a member. When a guy asks for a date from a provider, they can see who he has been with in the past. After a successful meeting, the guy asks for an approval from the provider, which is then added to his list. Once you have a few approvals, it is easy to get a date with the ladies listed on their site. P411 won't tolerate any bad providers, so it gives us guys a bit more confidence there won't be any cash and dash or other problems.

I've avoided that whole screening process numerous times over the years just by telling certain established providers my USG name, but that also poses a problem when you deal with outcall (having a personal place for side action) or car dates (license plate / unique car). Even just using your personal phone is strongly ill-advised.

Anything that could tie your identity or your real life to this site is NEVER a good thing. I guess it's up to us as long-time senior members (who have been actively participating and consistently sharing information) to be cautious, especially with brand new service providers.

Ok, you've found an escort you are interested in but can't find reviews after doing research. Follow the research tips and TOFTT guides:

To reiterate: if you are willing to take the plunge despite no reviews, it's ok to post to the forum stating your intentions. Tell the community what you've learned via searches or from your direct contact with the provider and that you are getting ready to book. That is a form of contribution and not a dreaded "got any info? Give other members some time to respond. It's ok to contact a provider to ask questions, but if you annoy her she may not respond or block you. Legitimate good providers usually will answer basic questions if you say you are interested in advanced appointment, availability, etc. Use your hobby phone or texting app.

Use Yahoo and other search engines the same way you use Google. Different stuff comes up on different search engines.

You want to take the plunge, first time with an escort, but are afraid of getting busted or getting ripped off. What do you do?

First read all the tips & advice. Absorb as much as possible. Monitor the various escort ad sites and look for reviews on USA for the providers you like. Don't get seduced by incredible pictures of hot 21 year olds, stick with proven providers that have real legitimate reviews and no history of ripoffs. Do your research, and always check the Ripoff Reports before you make a date. Unfortunately even good escorts go bad if they get into financial distress, drugs, bad company or all of the above.

Pay attention to the reviews and judge them against what YOU want, and what's important to YOU. Keep in mind a 20 year old sees the world differently than a 50 yo, and each monger pays for what is most important to them; be it the escort's appearance, age, skills, types of service, convenience, safety, low cost, etc. Choose a reliable escort who best fits what you are looking for that has reviews demonstrating she provides it. It is highly recommended to NOT go with an unknown provider for your first time. Better to go with a provider who had a lackluster review than a total unknown. There are many reasons a good escort can get a lackluster review, but there are no good reasons why an ad with a hot young girl can run for months and have no reviews. Use your big head to make decisions.

Once you make the date be prepared with all the different scenarios that could play out and what acts you may or may not want. If you notice she's high on drugs will you want to proceed? This is just my opinion I'm sure others will disagree with me, But these are things I look for when I am messaged by somebody.

1. I immediately disregard any message that starts with "wyd, yo or my favorite I seen your ad". It's I saw your ad LOL.

2. Asking me if I'm law enforcement. The reason this is an issue is because law enforcement does not have to tell you their law enforcement. This indicates to me someone who is trying to put me at to much ease.

3. Discussion of anything of a sexual nature. Solicitation is one of the only crimes that requires nothing but intent. The minute you mention sex in any form to an escort you have committed solicitation. It's best just to avoid the problem.

4. The things I look for when I'm responding to a message are name, age, and time they would like to meet. If you ask me what services I provide, I'm a companion. I bill for my time in my time alone. There are no charges a la carte menu or anything of that nature. I do charge an additional $6 if I have to make you a sandwich.

General rule it's a bad idea to do outcall to your home. Don't give a provider your real name, regular number, or home address. Bad news.

When doing outcall, consider where you are staying and who you are inviting over. If you are a business travelers in a nice hotel you may want to ask the escort to dress conservatively so to not draw unwanted attention of the front desk. Don't give out your room number up front, and have her text you from the lobby. This gives you the opportunity to discreetly watch her from the lobby or bar area to make she is who you ordered. If a different women shows up than was advertised you can deal with it there instead of having a scene at your hotel room door. By meeting in the lobby you can also be sure she isn't texting your room number to her pimp.

If you are staying at a no-tell-motel there may not be a safe lobby to observe your escort approaching. In that case proceed with caution and monitor through the window. You are more likely to get robbed at a shady motel than a nicer hotel because raucous is the norm at places like that. Whereas nicer hotels have cameras. Once your escort enters your room, ensure the door is locked so no one can bust in and she can't quickly do a cash and dash exit.

When seeing any escort (in or out) it's a good idea to only have the cash you are willing to spend on hand. All other valuables (rings, watches, credit cards, electronics) should be nowhere to be found. Consider locking them up in your car or in the room safe (if it has one).

Providers who primarily do outcalls tend to not have as many reviews as incalls. They service more business travelers than locals, and out-of-towners who are less likely to post a report. However the benefit of "outcall only" is they may be lower volume providers.

For those who are risk adverse, an outcall to a business style hotel is the way to go. The provider feels safe, it conveys a sense of assurance that you'll pay and not harm her, and has cameras in the hallway to protect the both of you. Someone intent on ripping someone off will likely seek an easier mark willing to meet at a fleabag motel or dark street corner.
