Yes, AAMP stands for Apartment Asian Massage Parlor and AMP stands for Asian Massage Parlor. The former is as you described: they send an address and apartment number and they buzz you in upon arrival. I've visited both types and I prefer the AMP set-up. In general, I believe that the more transparency there is, the less likelihood that something nefarious is going on. That is, in a condo or apartment in a secure building, it is potentially easier for management to hold / coerce providers against their will. Additionally, my fear of an LE sting is greater when I enter an unknown and anonymous venue like an AAMP. (I could be completely wrong-headed on this.
