The proper rate is what the market bears. You cannot compare overseas or even a different part of the US to grand Rapids. Everything from milk to gas to HEs will vary by location.

If you want to compare within-market rates, that's more appropriate. But even then there should be an allowance for budget and taste. Perhaps I can get full service cheaper. But perhaps a less-than-full-service provider checks more boxes (looks, location safety, kink friendly etc.) I might overpay for latter.

180 may be a bit much. But if the performance was great, set up was easy, felt safe, and could lead to long term connection with better rate? That might be worth it.

I haven't been to a MP for a while and no where in GR for over a year. I was just wondering if what I paid is now the going rate. The session was excellent, babe was hot, got nude right off the bat and allowed full roaming (FIV) and hinted at more for the right price. I was OK with everything and realize some places (like Serenity) are going to charge more. Just wondering if this was the new normal. Please don't get into rate debate or where you have been or how great you are at negotiating these ladies down or what you won't pay. Was $150 - 180 the going rate at Serenity?

I travel outside the USA frequently to Monger. It has spoiled me and opened up my eyes. These pricing issues always seem to shake out in the long run. Most ladies disappear quickly. I say pay as much as you want. Just be open minded to some constructive criticism or unhinged blow back. If a bird lands on your head and you allow it to build a nest, that's on you, not the bird!

You say that "not too long ago" you could get FS for that. I hate to tell you but there are many quality providers that will charge a whole lot less than $180 for FS TODAY! Even out in Portland, OR (where I do most of my playtime) you would be insane for paying $180 for a HJ. Hell, you can get a genuine Nuru massage for $150 for a half hour from a good looking South African here in town with an incredibly satisfying ending. Because I use a market outside of GR as a basis for my valuation in town, I just don't find many girls around here to be worth the prices the guys in town are content with paying. The high prices are more a sign of the desperation in the men around GR more than a sign of "inflation". Inflation occurs when the buyers are competing for a scarce resource. In this case, however, the girls around town her are so much smarter than the men purchasing services that they are able to command a much higher rate than they would get outside this market. Saying that you don't have an issue paying top dollar is just another way of saying, "Hmm. I could get this gallon of gas for $2. 39 at Meijer, but I don't mind paying top dollar, so I'm going to go to manager of the Meijer gas station and tell her I'd like to pay $2. 90 a gallon to fill up my F-150 because they provide such good service here. " That thinking makes no sense to me.

If I choose to see a girl here in town, it's because she offers something that the run of the mill doesn't offer around here.
