I've used the Burner app for iPhone. It's $5/ month, but provides unlimited texting. Use it for this sort of situation obviously, but also good for other times when you might not want to give out your "real" number.

Is another one you can use in addition to textfree. You have to put the app on a burner if you want to make calls from it, it won't do that from a browser, but will do everything else.

I've been using the same GV number for more than three years. Just did a search on truepeoplesearch and came up with nothing.

"We could not find any records for that search criteria."

Many of the SBs use KiK or WhatsApp.

Personally, I use a burner phone for all texts and calls. You can get one for $25/ month at WalMart by using their plan. Replace the SIM card every few months to avoid complications.

No way I would let Google have access to my sugar activities.
