I've been considering picking up the hobby. Been lurking for awhile, learning from all who share. I felt comfortable enough to set something up with a provider that I could find reviews on. My suggestion is to keep that thread to advice or "how to" so it's a clean resource of helpful topics. I also will make a plug to use the Anyone Seen This Girl blog. I felt that deserves it's own thread and we should encourage members to post questions / reviews in the correct thread. I'm probably just as guilty as anyone.

We need to coach and train them (that's why I wrote the 12 step program for TOFTT). There is a lot of useful info getting posted everyday, for lurkers and all members too.

One thing that most haven't learned including many seniors is the TGTBT rule. The ask from newbies is often similar to senior mongers. Wow who has info on this hot chick (with fake pics) This thread is flooded with those requests. I think I heard it from my parents and teachers, if it looks too good to be true It probably is. There is also the KISS rule. Keep It Simple Stupid.

This isn't Rocket Science. The real difference from what we learned in school was we were thinking logically with our big head. The fake pics have us thinking with our little head and turns all blood flow off to the Brain. That's why we should all jerk off just before opening STG or other sites so our blood flow is headed in the right direction while making contact decisions or posting questions on USA.

We should all be using the Blog thread (anyone seen this girl) and Apply the KISS and TGTBT rules.

I had a date with Brooke B this evening. I texted her at 10:30 and didn't hear back from her until 4:00. I was still available and interested, so I drove up from Battle Creek. Newbies have been a topic more than once here. We were all newbies at one time. Before I joined, I was a lurker in training. I studied the board to get my info and was successful at improving my monger skills, thanks to the members of this board and my mentor The NoNonsenseLady (currently in California, Miss her a lot). I think what's missing now is the lurker joins before he learned anything and is looking for the short cuts.

I've been thinking of starting a Newbie thread, specifically geared to answer all the typical questions: How to do your own research, how to identify fakes, etiquette of posts vs questions, the TOFTT guide, how to attach pics, etc. It would help clear up the clutter and redundant conversations that occur in this thread. I would have benefited from it.

It's the girl in the pics. Nice hotel by Cascade Meijer. Everything covered. No kissing. I did a hhr so it was somewhat rushed. Hhrs usually are. This is why I share most of my info with good participating members through PM. Too many who want info and not willing to do anything like take one for the team or do their own research.
They will never learn or contribute anything, if we do it all for them.
