This past Sunday morning, I made the huge mistake of scheduling a an appointment with Savannah.

Shortly after agreeing on 65 roses for a quick visit, Savannah texted me the address of her motel off Cone Blvd. Let it be known that Savannah stays at the absolute worst motel in Greensboro, maybe the worst motel in North Carolina. Because of it's notorious reputation, my friends and I call this shithole, 'the M&M'; shorthand for 'the Murder Motel'. Though the motel only has 8 rooms, numerous murders have taken place there over the past few years.

Nevertheless, I figured that meeting Savannah there would be safe during daylight on a Sunday morning.

After texting me the address of the M&M, Savannah quickly sent several texts that repeatedly requested my eta. Though my true eta was only 10 minutes, I told her to expect me in 15.

After arriving at the M&M 10 minutes later, I parked as far away from the rooms as possible then texted her of my arrival. I never received a reply.

Instead, a young male tweaker emerged from nowhere. With one his hands in his hoodie pocket, he quickly made a beeline straight toward me. As he signaled for me to roll down my window, I quickly put the gear in drive, hit the gas, then made a quick you-turn and exited the parking lot. In turn, the tweaker continuing to walk to the edge of the parking lot then stopped. In the rear view mirror, I watched walk the outer perimeter of the motel parking lot before heading back to his room.

After driving over to the Walmart across the street, I reflected on what had just taken place. Without any definitely proof, I concluded, and continue to believe, that the tweaker approached me with the intent to rob me. Though I have no proof that he and Savannah were working together, the guy certainly seemed to be expecting me.

Though I sent several texts to Savannah accusing her of setting me up, she replied via a single text 5 hours later apologizing for falling asleep.

My advice is to avoid Savannah at all costs.
