Some Recent Asian ads wanted me to take photo of the hotel / motel and send it to them to prove I am there. First time they asked it didn't feel right so I left. Later I got a stock photo and arranged another meting, if they asked I would send them stock photo of hotel exterior. That said, try sending them a generic selfie of another person resembling yourself the web. I'm sure its as accurate as the model from their ad.

Plus the fact that I just started a new well paying job and did not want to end up in the clink because I listening to the little head! On the plus side I moved closer to S. E. Made contact with a 2 to 6 on diff sites, all were a hotel incalls location and that don't work for me too much to risk, so. One was a approx location address in beaverton, NOT a real address of a structure, was told to contact when arrived, like hmmmm nope.

These Asian ads that look too good to be true, almost invariably are. Check out the Northern Virginia forum on this site -- NOVA has a real lack of good providers, so guys often go for the Asian ads and there are a lot of comments about them there. Generally, the business model is to say whatever it takes to get a monger to show up. They'll show you beautiful pics, promise amazing services, just to get the guy in the door. Many times, a guy won't walk out and they get paid. I also wonder if some of these places are actually trafficking, which is a horrible crime that should not be supported ever.

So, especially in Portland where there are LOTS of alternatives, I would avoid the "Asian crap shoot". (They call it that because once in a long while, you actually get something close to what you were after).
