You're asking the right questions so sounds like you're getting a good idea how this works.

I won't send a face pic until we've moved to another media like text, kik, etc If you're using burner text apps and non-personal profiles for any social media that gives you the best plausible deniability that you don't know how your picture got used by 'somebody'.
