I went to see Jenny at Health Magic massage in Manassas. Rates are 50 for half, 70 for the full. I opted for the half since I just wanted to blow my load. I have seen Jenny about three times so far so she knows me. This time she did a lame massage through the towel, no oil, and after 10 minutes, she went for the tease. I directed her to play with me for about 15 minutes, edging me and exchanging some light-hearted banter. I blew a nice load. I tipped 40 which she sarcastically said my tips were getting smaller. I just smiled and left. I think I will scratch this place off my list for several months as her attitude really irked me. What kind of tip do you expect for a quick lame massage and trying to make me pop well shy of 30 minutes?

I tried another spot in Bristow, off of Linton Hall Road, Crystal Massage Spa. The place is run out of a house so you go straight to front door and ring the bell, while out in full view of cars passing by on Linton Hall Rd. An older provider let me in, which I think she may be the only working there. Nothing great to look at. 40 for half hour, 60 for full hour. She did a very good medium massage with hot stones. I have to give her kudos for that. No tease or hint of anything extra towards the end, which surprised me since some of the reviews on rubmaps note this place does standard noVA. We chatted and exchanged some good banter back and forth and I guess I looked like someone who use to visit this place frequently because she stated how it's been a long time since I had stopped by, etc. I probably won't go back unless I'm in need of a legit only massage.

Both places can be found on rubmaps (don't ask me for anything posted on rubmaps as I don't have a membership to see any of the details of reviews).

You saw the owner. A very sweet lady, who I consider attractive for her age. I bet she was a real fox 20-30 years ago. Anyway, Strictly legit. I have been there quite a lot and she politely declined when I suggested some help with an erectile problem (which I don't have) one time. The lady reviewed on Rubmaps is Michelle who I met one time, but have not experienced. Younger, attractive and friendly during my brief meeting, when the owner shuffled her off to the other room and took care of me herself. Since, the owner operates out of her residence, I would be surprised if she allowed Michelle to do a Nova finish. But, the fact that Michelle has been reviewed 5-6 times on Rubmaps, does make me wonder? I don't have a membership so cannot read the reviews. Anyone out there help with the Michelle reviews?

A frequent complaint on the board is when fave providers move on and fall off the radar. Even without a spa closing, AMP women move around, change names, and can be difficult to track down. Anyone who has a fave at RTC might want to take this opportunity to ask her for personal digits. The non-creepy way to ask is to just tell her you want to be able to find her again, promise to keep the number confidential and promise to use it only as a last resort. If you've established a good rapport, then she already feels comfortable with you and it shouldn't be a problem. Also, if you're worried about having a strange number on your phone (another good argument for a burner) you can always create a free email account (protonmail, etc.) and save provider contact info in a draft msg.

Thanks! I have done just that! My absolute fave was there and I will now follow her more personally, hopefully outside of the spa.

Don't know if you've seen some of the earlier discussions about visiting vs local Thai providers but, if not, some of it can be found here:

Short version is that most of the visitors are looking to make maximum cash for minimum effort and have zero interest in cultivating regular clients. Also, with a few exceptions, their massage skills are poor or non-existent and they expect GPS-level tips for anything extra.

I appreciate variety as much as the next guy but I don't enjoy p*ssing away my hard-earned money. Visiting Thai providers are as much of a crapshoot as the Chinese ACS places, IMHO, except more expensive. A much better value proposition is to see indie locals with whom you can achieve favored regular client status.

It is getting harder and harder just to find a nice looking younger lady with any type of massage and teasing skills without having to deal with the hard upsell from the minute you walk in. I had one go as far as when I turned down her request for more $ she faked getting a phone call, from her "boss" saying LEO was in the area and to end all services and close. As I walked out not a sign of any LEO, she just knew I wasn't paying for her bs and wanted to free up her time. By the way I did get my $ back once I said fine we will wait on LEO and let them decide if I should get the refund.

Decided to see who was at Bamboo around 9 PM that evening. Greeted by Leah (Lia?) who was probably dozing in one of the rooms. Easy laugh, she said it has been slow because everyone is watching ball games. This is my second time seeing Leah.

I pay $80 for the hour. As stated previously, the providers at this location tend to skew older. Would probably be a Mamasan at another location. As it is, Leah has a fairly petite figure and an attractive face when she smiles.

Massage was more of a soft body rub, but she worked the entire area, took her time, and we had some idle chit-chat during the session. I think she gave me more of a therapeutic massage on my last visit. Like last time, soft touch was great and she flips me for a NOVA standard finish.

Once every 3 months is usually good for me at this location. I do recommend Leah. Nice change of pace from my out-of-control "Summer activities. ".

Anyone know if this is the same Leah (Lee) who worked at Bamboo Woodbridge for many years? If so a great, friendly lady.

Well, I agree that she is a nice girl and has decent massage skills. However, I did not like that she wanted more money just for nova. She actually pulled the "we're done" after the massage. Ugh.

I gave Kay a go today. Decent looks and body although she's thickening up around the mid-section, getting a bit of a middle age gut. Massage and flip were just ok and, as you noted, she has the personality of a door knob. Would not repeat.

Last Saturday afternoon decided to hit Healthy Spa on Old Franconia. The gal that greeted me definitely was not pictured in the ad on CityXGuide. As I paid, she told me no TS. I decided to collect my $80 back and visit New Paradise Wellness a few doors down at 6277 instead.

Greeted by a short, slender Korean with curly hair. Believe her name was Kay when I asked. She was not very chatty and didn't come across as very warm.

Reston Therapy Center on Sunset Hills is closing this month (October 2019) to make way for a new development. End of an era at least to me.

The ladies are dispersing, so if you ever thought about it, now is the time. Table shower plus CMT level massage and more from time to time.

I am a regular so I have been treated exquisitely, YMMV.

Talked with her over the summer. Asked if she had plans to come back to VA and she said "next year" maybe. Not sure if her number is still in service as she and I have a non-public way of keeping in touch.

She once told me she had a sister close by, so hopefully will return. That's three of my favs now gone, maybe for good. Cristine, Sharon and Alexa.

I had many great sessions with Cristine going back to when she was with Nalee, but there was that occasional session where she was different in mood or what she wanted to offer. I've never seen Candy though I have tried a couple of times, but couldn't match schedules. I have read that she gives a good massage. When did you last talk to Cristine? So her number is still good?
