Paystub has SSN and income details. They can file a false tax return using your driver license number as verification for IRS payment.

I can't remember for sure but I think I just used RS2 K back when it was widely accepted. It was at least 5 years ago so not too sure. Can't help you on that end but I can say they're legit. Never had to go that length. Once upon a time, a work phone verification was enough. Maybe they've changed.
