You are right to be cautious. If a girl just sends you a number without any communication up front, I wouldn't bother. Probably a hooker or a scam. The other poster suggested googling the number, that will sometimes give you more info. But still, not what I'm looking for on SA anyway.

I usually google the number, or add it to my contacts see if they pop up in snapchat or instagram. Otherwise that's why a second number is always a good thing.

Doesn't sound like the worst session in the world but yea, I know the feeling like all the time and effort on SA and finding a good room, etc doesn't deliver the cost / benefit of just booking a decent pro. Some women just assume that most guys are 'one and done', so maybe it wasn't a totally conscious effort to short you on time, but it definitely makes the experience better if they at least put on a show of staying interested and doing more. At all imo. Since many of the other sites went down they are all looking for other venues to show their wares. I mean the word "escort" or "provider" is pure bs imo! In all cases they know what we want and know what to do! I mean if we were all looking for a relationship and companion we would be on the traditional dating sites that we all know about. To me there is no difference between a site similar to what backpage was and eros or other "model" type sites. The only differences really are several the provider pays for and others are free. They can pose for the best photog while wearing designer clothes, however the reality is they are selling or renting their bodies for sex! Pretty simple in my book.
