I have run into 2 ladies I saw regularly. In the grocery store we each simply smiled and said hello as we passed without any awkward conversation or look backs. It happens from time to time if you hobby anywhere near where you live. Always awkward. If they didn't see me see them then I act like I didn't see them. If possible, I walk in another direction and turn away from them so they don't see my face.
