I was robbed and assaulted by a woman who said she was an Escort but turned out to be a scammer and thief. It was a chance meeting and she does not advertise so no worries for you guys "out there". I could have easily overcome her but my size and fighting experience would have done her much more harm than she did to me which would have gotten me arrested or worse. I don't know her name but I do know that she was arrested this past summer for larceny and is scheduled for a court appearance in a few months. I also know that her arrest was published in a local newspaper in the police blotter section. I have emails, pictures of my bruises etc. As evidence as to what occurred. I want to go after her and attend her court appearance with my story.

If I do this what potential legal issues am I exposing myself to? I have a few Attorney friends but I do not want them to know about my Hobby.

Definitely let it go. We all understand the frustration and wanting revenge but you need to pick your battles.

What are you to gain? At most she gets max punishment for larceny because of your story but won't be hit with additional charges unless you file.

What are you to lose? By doing this, you risk exposing yourself and your hobby. Assume worst case and it gets back to your friends and family. Some people have a LOT to lose while others not so much.

Best thing to do is expose her on here so karma can get back to her.

Let it go. No good will come of it. How did you meet her? Curious.

If you insist on pursuing, then perhaps go to court date to get her information, name at least. Take more pics of her. Get docket when her case is called, or from the court list for that day.

You can go to court, clerks office, afterwards and look at her docket & file. Act like you know what you are doing. The clerks don't usually ask for I'd or bar card. Its a public record anyway.
