Those who may recall: when Kissimmee Massage Spa first opened, being the ONLY Top Tier spot in the south part of town, the gushing reports on here resulted in a literal stampede of customers. So much so that they really had TOO much business volume for the facility. Not long after opening, with the volume still high, they started the 45 minute offering, clearly labeled in the lobby, for only $60 (hour still $80). The tip that went with the 45 minute session was also trimmed from the normal $160 tip for the hour to just $140 for the 45 minute deal. Total was then $200 and all the client missed was 15 minutes of after-glow scalp or foot massage. A LOT of guys jumped at that deal and, MOST importantly for management, they could speed up the production line put out more "product" per hour and vastly increase total revenue.

Over time, I'm thinking that huge volume normalized and they're no longer quite as crushed at the door. I'm also guessing that, when the same outfit opened at the Shangri-La location (and then renamed the new business as NEW DAY SPA), they might have realized that, even with the gorge of eager-beaver clients during the honey-moon period of just having opened, that $200 model left them a little tighter than they'd like, AND since their reports continued to be SO glorious, they could "get away with" squeaking UP those rates to what's being reported recently. In the effort to keep the $200 price point, they only had to cut the time from 45 to 30 minutes. Some guys aren't going to go for that and they'll pay more for the 45 minutes, or even the hour.

In any case, New Day Spa and, I assume, KMS are driving their pricing HIGHER. While Snow has reportedly just come out of hiding and resurfaced at Massage Connection (what are we going to call that one? Is it going to just MC, or MCS for Massage Connection Spa?) I'm going to guess that she will run with the same pricing as the old BO when she ran that location. At least for now! If MC continues to do well at their current pricing, maybe NDS and KMS will adjust downward in price, or maybe MC will catch on and match the higher rates as well. Meanwihle U_Massage seems to be holding their old pricing, but maybe that's only because they aren't reading here as closely as I'm certain management at NDS and KMS do, and probably MC too.

So if you guys want the market to react to hold pricing down, or at least level, the customer base will have to vote with their dollars and reward those places that are behaving in a fashion that pleases you price-wise. Personally, I like seeing as many great reports on here as possible and, if prices go up, I'm still going to go there (because they sound SO hot!). But just not as often, and I'll probably make a conscious effort to spend prudently by going back to U_Massage (or MC) more often than the higher cost places. That said, I am NOT stepping down to the Tier 2 AMPs to entertain the 40 to 60+ year old ladies. They are just not my cup of tea any more, although I know a lot of guys are perfectly satisfied with those places and I think that's great (mostly because those guys are not then crowding up the places I DO want to go). To each his own.

I couldn't agree with you more on the pricing structure and the demand and supply theory, I personally do not mind paying for quality but I think this is a controllable market as long as a majority of the people stop paying the extra high prices. I think the same quality (most of the time) is offered at a few different locations at a more reasonable price, you massage and MC. I have heard other members stating that some of the girls in New day had a start point of $340 tip for full service, I have seen it happen in many areas, all it takes is a few guys willing to pay and the rates will sky rocket. As far as the house fee, yes this too has risen, the increase is not a real deterrent for most, if anything it may have also been done to help weed out the low ballers. At any event, I liked reading what you wrote and for the record, there are several girls at New Day and KMS that are well into their 40's but with make up still look good.

So I've heard quite a few posts about others that DATY or 69 at these AMP (or with regular providers for that matter) and have even heard of some mongers wanting BB. For the ones that do this, aren't you concerned with STDs or even the monger that was there before you? Personally for me there ain't no way in the hell I'm going to DATY or even ever consider BB at any AMP or with a service provider. I really would like to hear people's opinions on this. Stopped by Shangrila tonight and had an awesome time. You know you're in for a good time when you're groped by 3 girls as soon as you walk in.
