I did one of these tours long ago in Dominican Republic. $2500 for a week including airfare, lodging and meals. This was covered a few weeks ago on this thread. If I remember right, Washington law does not allow "by the hour" hotel rates. But they can do "day rates". Most hotels are by the airport for layovers.
