Sure they could try that. I feel good attorney will probably get that dismissed. How do I know that it was a place of illegal operation. I could have been on the street looking for a house for sale to flip or whatever reason. I had my vehicle back the next day as soon as I took my attorney down there with me of course pay the impound fee and get the release the take to the towing yard. But you're right on the second part because how could they prove. Even if she's a known SW, how do they know I'm not just giving her a ride or take her to get some food because I know her. That's why I think the prosecutor's office try to add some different charges and my attorney kicked their asses and I walked out of there with nothing and no record. You're right it's a scam they just want the vehicle impound fees.
