Being trying to see this one for a while and our schedules have never matched up. I had a similar experience once with a provider on a QV. She had very large breasts and I asked her to take off her top. Nope, that's extra. What? Getting undressed is extra? If you take Truvada daily then the risk of HIV transmission decreases 99%. If you take it just the day you have sex it's down 92-97%. And that's with men having sex with men, without a condom (the group the medication was extensively studied).

They have to say the part about the safer sex practices because it's not 100% effective, but Truvada is a no brainier for someone going bare.

The bottom line is, if they want it upfront, and get pissy about it, tell them to get out. Wanting it upfront is simply one of the biggest red flags there is.
