Well its fairly quiet out. Was out last night and at 1 saw a really cute skinny girl on 82nd at Mickeys D's if I had time I would have gotten her. Saw her get in a cheap car. Obvously working. Tried to get her number but she was in and out. Saw a few others but nothing worth picking up. Not much LE out there that I saw. I have been luck with a regular provider or two and not had to cruise the strip much. Its always interesting to see what is out in the wee hours of dark. I tend to prefer the day as you can see what you are getting.

More soon its great to use this web site when out of town. Most major cities have strolls and if we keep up the work its great.

Tuesday, 11:30pm NW was dead so I headed down to Oldtown.
Only one sw visable. Trisha, native american who says she recently came here from New Mexico.

Saw very very little on 122nd, 82nd, and nothing on Sandy. I think 2 SW's total in a few hours of cruising, one was BSW on 82nd that did not appeal to me, other was white on 122nd who spent most of time I saw her chatting with parked LE.

Did see a vehicle being impounded on 82nd near Sandy...well, for all I know it was stolen or the guy had too many parking tickets. But due to location and time, I gotta believe driver got caught mongering.

Like a dummy, I did break down and take in one of those lingerie places on 82nd. Never again, what a waste of money. I think it was pink pussycat, something like that. I do NOT reccommned to anyone.

Had business near town. Stopped in at House Of Pancakes, 82nd. Two LSW one Bsw and bf/pimp having late night dinner. One of the Lsw was dope sick, the other was real cute. Down near Sandy was BSw struting near KRI, something did not feel right, so passed. At the motel on Sandy and 82nd was two LEO cruisers, SUV and what looked like a person in handcuffs. All this before 0600.

God, I love the end of the month.
Drove around NW and Oldtown between Midnight and 12:30. Counted three definate SW's in NW (one looked like jailbait with a pimp around the corner). In area of 3rd and Burnside and 3rd and Couch there were three WSW's and two BSW's working hard to attract attention.

The sting in Vancouver involved girls who advertised on Craigslist, not streetwalkers. It seems odd that the Vancouver PD would target girls who advertise on the Internet, when it is street prostitution that citizens complain about, but that is what they did.

They made appointments for the girls to come to a motel that had a room equipped with a hidden camera, got them to agree to perform a specific sex act for money, and arrested them.

The girls did most of the cops' work for them by offerring specific acts in their CL ads. When the ad plainly says that she will perform oral sex for a certain price it is pretty hard for her lawyer to argue that there was not intent to commit prostitution.

The established escorts around here usually say on their websites that they only provide their time and companionship. I don't know if that is an effective legal defense or not, but I haven't heard of any of them getting arrested.

Eight women and one man were arrested in prostitution sting in Hazel Dell Thursday evening. The operation involved officers posing as potential customers, as well as the close surveillance of an area known to be used for prostitution, said Clark County Sheriff's Sgt. Craig Hogman. He declined to identify the exact location but said much of the activity was near Highway 99. The Sheriff's Office worked with the Vancouver Police Department's Neighborhood Response Team, he said. Hogman said it has been a while since a prostitution sting has been conducted and couldn't recall the last time. The arrests should open some residents eyes to the fact that such activities are happening in Clark County. "It happens everywhere," he said. "We've had issues over the years, off and on." Bud Van Cleve, 75, an active member of the Northeast Hazel Dell Neighborhood Association, said it had been about five years since he had seen women working as prostitutes along Highway 99, but the success of the sting didn't surprise him. "I'm not surprised at anything anymore," he said. Van Cleve said the Sheriff's Office works closely with residents to deal with crime and he appreciates the sting. "I like the idea," he said. "I think it's great." Only one of those arrested, Steven Paul Repp-Brown, 23, of Portland, Ore. is suspected of a felony, second-degree promoting prostitution. Seven women were arrested on suspicion of prostitution while an eighth was cited for an unrelated misdemeanor warrant. Five of the women were 19 years old, while the others were 29, 30, and 36. Five women were from Vancouver and three were from Portland, Ore. One of the women was arrested on suspicion of both prostitution and possession of cocaine. No one was arrested for attempting to solicit a prostitute. Hogman said the timing was purposely planned at the beginning of the spring as a deterrent. Hogman predicted it would not be the last of the stings. "I want to keep people off-guard," he said. "They'll find another place to to do their business."
