I've been to several AAMPs and been disappointed each time. They say they do Nuru, BBBJ, kissing, etc with young women but I always got an older woman (45+) and never got anything more than a 15 min session even though I paid for an hour. Not sure which CAMPs you've visited, but most girls will ask how much you'll give them before they commence a HJ, unless they know you well. CAMP ladies who know me well don't discuss the tip because they already know how much they're going to get and are satisfied with it. I wasn't suggesting that CAMP girls ask about a tip at the onset of a massage session, just prior to the extras. If they don't ask for a specific monetary amount, they'll at least say, "You give me good tip?" or similar. A couple of years ago, asking for the tip "upfront" wasn't as frequent, so I assume some mongers were stiffing girls and that changed the tide.

Went to Gold Spa last night after a drunken night at the club and striking out. It's been about 5 years since I've been there but we were in the area and my friend really wanted to go. Because the trend of not tipping started with pre-payment for massage. The pre-payment for massage started from customers running out and not paying or theft of services.

I have been places on two occasions when that did happen. The "customer" pretended to have forgotten to bring his wallet in from the car and then took off after promising to come back inside and pay. This must be the MO at this place. I visited a couple of times earlier this year and each time was asked if I was going to tip.

Most if not all CAMPs ask about a tip before the deed so IRelax is no exception.

I have been to many Camps and IRelax is only Camp in my experience that has asked me about the tip upfront.

IMO if a tip is asked for beforehand it no longer is a tip but a fee for services rendered. I use the same policy at the AMP as with a waiter at the restaurant, sky cap at airport, hotel concierge, etc. Tip amount is based on a standard (ie 10% for a waiter) and the level of service provided results in a higher or lower amount. In my experience I have had only one masseuse ask about the tip before providing a service at a CAMP. I agree with Hobbyman that it is an exception rather than rule at CAMPs. KAMP's most always negotiate before a service is rendered. If we negotiate a "tip" or fee and no matter how good or bad the service is that is what I submit and nothing more, nothing less.
