Haven't used the App or Kik groups myself but I think you may be over estimating how quickly LEO can get up to speed on new Apps especially ones for mobile platforms! They are still trying to figure out where the next Backpage is. Think they'd be more focused on Twitter, Switter, and Snap before they drill down to Kik.
