Yes. They have done outcall stings before. They were caught doing an outcall sting in GR last summer using the Ad of a provider named Trinity. At that time her Ad was posted in GR, Muskegon, Lansing, Holland. In this forum you can search for Trinity or Sting and see all the posts regarding that. For that sting there were 3 unmarked Ford Explorers nearby the area where the provider was suppose to meet the monger. And ahead of time they asked the monger to take a picture of the donation to show proof of his intent to pay for services. A picture of the donation, or you saying you are going to get the cash is all they need to say you intended to pay for services. Below is a list of Do Not's that I put together after that sting was revealed last summer. It will be difficult to abide by all of those but the more you can follow the better. And I went ahead and attached a picture of the Ad you are referencing.

DO NOT send the provider a picture of the donation.
DO NOT talk about any effort involved in getting the donation (ie going to ATM).
DO NOT give the provider a picture of yourself, your car, etc.
DO NOT use your cell phone's real number. Instead get a burner phone(pay with cash) or get a number via a burner app).
DO NOT give the provider your real first or last name.
DO NOT give the provider the make, model or color of your vehicle (might make car dates a challenge).
DO NOT host a provider at your house or apartment.
DO NOT talk about services during communication.
DO NOT talk about donation during communication.
DO NOT give the donation at the beginning of an appointment.
DO NOT park at the incall. Always park somewhere else and walk to it.
DO NOT take your phone into the incall.

Yes I have heard of outcall stings. Some of these girls our being investigated for sex trafficking and other things so it's very possible. That might of been a set up you just missed it. I've heard a lot about recent stings in Grand Rapids hotels for incall but an outcall is very suspect also. Just be careful of what girl you see because some have a lot of heat and unwanted attention on them right now.

Verifiable info on recent charges maybe listed on the 63 District Court docket, the legal venue for that part of 28th St.

Your buddy needs a good attorney to get these alleged charges reduced or dismissed. To possibly prevent total financial ruin.
