I got to see the famous Emily the other day. Thanks to the advice here, I set aside the entire afternoon for her, and even then almost did not make the date happen. Had a date set for 1 pm over SA PM. She would host, and the location is Everett. Okay, Everett is a big town, where? Oh, 1 xx St. Well there is a 1 xx SE and a 1 xx SW, which is it? No response. " Luckily I had brought my computer and found a Starbucks to camp out in and got some work done.

I do not think you are being overly cautious or paranoid. Those are key redflags and I am glad you saw them rather than let the little head do the thinking. I would not have entertained those requests either.
