I countered that I was fine booking the room and she said she liked to have the room in her name. I told her I was no longer interested. When I told her I was moving on, she didn't protest or ask why which most real Sb's would have done. So perhaps I'm being a little overly cautious and paranoid but my gut just said this wasn't right.

Her profile says, "First off I have been on SA for the past four years and know how things works. No games, no drama, no Bs. " Her profile also says, "Member since July 10,2019. " Obviously, she was booted off and came back.

I do not think you are being overly cautious or paranoid. Those are key redflags and I am glad you saw them rather than let the little head do the thinking. I would not have entertained those requests either.
