You assume that if person A "follows" person B that it means that person A has either seen person B or is considering it. What if person A "follows" person B in order to, well, keep an eye on them to see what scam they are using when they switch up their method? What if person A is a cop and is following person B to find out where person B is traveling to so they can be arrested? What if person A is the type of person that just "follows" everyone that follows them? What if you're a guy and you "follow" another guy to see his posts and who he sees because you have interests or tastes in common? All of those are reasons that a person might "follow" someone that I know are true in some cases. That is to say, all of those reasons have been used as reasons to "follow" someone that differs from your assumption.

The bottom line here is that what might be true for you is not necessarily true for me or for anyone else. And you shouldn't make assumptions about other people's activity based on your own.

No offense taken. It's a case by case scenario as you're indicating. Reasons don't matter, assumptions don't matter. What matters is if there is a connection that can be verified.

In G0's case however, he does have connecting references he has seen that are following him and he is pretty proactive in outing frauds.

I'm only pointing out that switter allows you to connect those dots easier as opposed to listing sites that don't have the social aspect.

Those tend to take multiple ads and different other methods to find the commonality of all involved.

And this is not "scientific" by any means, but the thing that I've found is that there seems to be a higher percentage of fakes on switter than on other sites like backpage, at least for this area and the "fakes" are a bit harder to spot. That means it's just not worth the time and effort (to me) to use switter.
