Wait, 80% of what requires a deposit? If "escorts", you must be including scammers in that figure. I've only been asked for a deposit once ever, and it was an established pro with a big online presence. Other than that, never. I've seen a few legit ads who were asking, but not many.

What doesn't make sense? It's exactly what you said. The deposit is to deter people who aren't serious / don't show up. You mainly see this with what I consider mid to high end providers. The kind that travels the country or even globe. They aren't going to risk traveling without at least some guarantee of compensation.

To each his own I guess. The only I way I would use a credit card was if it was prepaid and it was a small amount that I would not be upset if I lost. Other than that I doubt I would give me up my credit card information to a girl. I would feel more comfortable giving Lacey my ATM card and PIN and trust she would only take a small amount of money and while I am going there I am sure I could trust Andy with my house keys and when I got home I bet everything would be there. Either way I would proceed with Caution giving out financial information to some of these girls.

1. I like BBW and there was only two hours of window of opportunity to go SS Plaza mall and see her. She was less than 10 minutes form there and available at that time in afternoon.
