I wasn't going to report on this because I don't like reporting when I really don't have anything to add, which seems to be most of the time. I guess I'm a fucking loser when it comes to this. Anyway, this girl posted a week ago and I have nothing to show for my efforts. I texted her the first day and she responded and I've tried texting follow up through the week with no response from her. What can I conclude? Either she was put off because I didn't jump on my bike and ride straight over the first day or for some other reason she hasn't gotten back on the 3 or 4 follow up texts over the week. I think it was a sting for one day and I missed it. Then again, I'm so paranoid about all this that I've missed other girls who turned out to be real. I have the worst fucking luck. Or the worst luck fucking.

Maybe it was for the best. That's how I look at things. Life taught me if it's TGTBT it probably is. Every once in a while we get lucky, but it only takes one bad dream to ruin everything.

If it makes them more comfortable, more power to them. It is a false sense of security for many of them, and a minor, at best, inconvenience for us.

Is it me or do others feel the same with this ridiculous technique?

Why do some of these girls think that by advertising such or inquiring if your are LEO or affiliated with LEO is a deterrent from being harassed by a LEO. Most say that if you are a COP you must state that you are. I am not sure why any sane individual would believe such malarky and it irritates the hell out of me because of the shear stupidity of someone who believes such. Officers go under cover for years on major cases, so why would it not be plausible that one wouldn't or couldn't lie? By asking the question it just insinuates that you are considering some type of illegal activity and by even responding to such a question you are playing the same game. I'm sorry for the rant but just gets my goat because there is no right way to respond to such other than say best of luck and have a good day!

That is incorrect. Entrapment occurs when a LEO engages in conduct that gets a person to commit a crime when that person wasn't otherwise going to do so. It is a valid defense. If you want read the Florida statute, it's 777.201. In short, if you say "no, I don't want to do X" and a cop convinces or coerces you into doing X, you can win at trial by showing you were entrapped.

As far as a LEO check, cops are fully allowed to lie to you when undercover or when interrogating you. Fair or not, it's legal.

There are times when law enforcement officers (LEO) must disclose that they are LEO, such as during the execution of a lawful arrest. However, law enforcement officials are not required to identify themselves while gathering evidence against you.

I think the impetus for the "are you LEO affilliated" question comes from the perception that it could help establish entrapment, where there would have been no crime without LEO interference. I think this is a false perception and may even hurt an entrapment defense, because as you say, what person of innocent intent would ask it?

Just seen Destiny in Deltona. I've been a regular for quite some time and she has never done me wrong. Called her up and she told me to come on by.
