Nope. There are a lot of "known" stars who charge around $500 or less if you book them outside an agency. Amy used to charge $500/ hr. I'm not sure about her current rate.

BTW, many of those that book for $800-1000 independently (not through an agency) can probably be negotiated down to $500 or so after a first date. If you're not a jerk to them, anyway.

A lot also depends on whether or not you're booking them in their "home town" or while they are on tour. When on tour, the costs are usually higher because they have to cover the cost of plane fare, hotel room, food, etc. While they're no tour. At home, they are often cheaper.

You have misinterpreted the legislations. "Decriminalizing" something is not the same as legalizing it.

What "decriminalization" means is prostitutes won't go to jail. It means that police won't engage in stings to arrest prostitutes. However, that won't stop police from arresting johns. It won't stop police from arresting prostitutes caught with drugs.
