I think negotiation also depends on who you're trying to see.

I've found most of the lower end hotel ones will knock down the price to what stevestone123 said.

Higher end BWI types probably won't negotiate as readily.

AMP's usually flat rate entry fee, usually can negotiate for upgrades.

I can't really say if the performance changes that much if you offer a fair price. They want to get you off and out in the time allotted, if not faster.

To each his own, but I've never negotiated a rate with a provider on the presumption that if she and I were to agree to $220 for services that regularly cost $260, I wouldn't get her best efforts. I have told a provider that I couldn't afford an increase in rates and, luckily, I was grandfathered in.

My advice would be to ask the providers if they would be willing to negotiate a qv rate and bring up a number that is 75% of their hhr rate or 40% of their hourly rate. Many providers won't do that short because it takes prep time and just isn't worth it.
