Total agree with the last part and it is all about culture. Chinese value money too much and use every opportunity to maximize their profits. It is ingrained into them, as it is part of their culture, where success is happiness based on possessions. Whereas Thai culture, based on buddhism, believes nothing is permanent and a life based on possessing things or persons doesn't make you happy. So just based on culture, your chances with the latter will be much more enjoyable.

You are certainly correct that in the past Buddhism was prevalent in both China and many oriental countries including Japan. But when the communists took over China, all religions including Buddhism was banished, so the original concept was lost and greed for money replaced the Chinese mindset. It will prove their downfall when other nations of the orient begins to develop economically especially when they find out how perverse these Chinese are in their "loans" which is just another ruse to put debt that cannot be repaid, so they have to give up resources to be owned by Chinese interests.

Anyway, long story short I will never go to Chinese network. Cherry at Cherry Spa is the only Chinese provider I feel I can trust in the building. The Thai providers at least do a good massage first, for the most part. I understand they are trying to make a living but I feel like every encounter is a hustle and not relaxing. More importantly I feel like there's no sense of customer service and the whole point for me is to relax.
