Not trying to side track too much from the forum's topic. The exact reason I used CC is that I could file a dispute. I don't think the recipient sees any of my financial information. Maybe just my name but I don't have an internet presence (no social media at all. If I Google myself, nothing comes up). So I'm not too worry about privacy if they know my name. But yes, bottom line, don't be dumb like me LOL.

I learned the hard lesson a few weeks ago. I venmo money to a chick as "deposit". She sent me to a fake address. Granted, I filed a claim thru my CC company but still the hassle is not worth it. Been messaging with her for a couple weeks. She always said, let's meet. I told her repeatedly that yes. I'm all for it.
