So I returned to the oasis in Franconia yesterday and discovered that the lake has dried up. Vivian was gone and her replacement was less than willing to go beyond the muscle rub. I begged and pleaded but she was adamant this is a place only for massage. It was like an episode of the twilight zone. Did I really just dream it? I mean Vivian even supplied the cover for everything how can it be the tale of two cities in one place? I left disappointed and tried to return in the morning hoping she'd be back but after talking with mama-San it seems Vivian returned to NY and prolly won't be coming back. Which means I ain't returning either. I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's not where you go it's who you see that matters. The name of provider has more value than the name of the establishment. Best of luck out there brothers.

I've recently paid a couple visits to Sisters Spa on Liitle River just befor the Beltway. North side of LRT, 2 story office building, 2nd floor above the hair place. Aromatherapy. At least I think it's called Sisters. Maybe I misunderstood that.

Clutterd place on 2nd floor. Room in the back. It's funky, but I actually found that kinda nice. They do have a shower. But it's standup and not looking too great. I haven't used it.

Both visits the therapist was Chinese woman, first time Vivian and second was Nana. Neither spoke English well.

Because there was no shower, I avoided oil. Vivian was a 40 ish woman, OK looks, just a few extra pounds. Pricing was $70 for an hour and $50 for half. She gave me a pretty good massage. After a while I started getting friendly with her legs, so she got the idea. On the flip it took some persuasion. She doesn't do that etc. Etc. - but a smile and gentle playful persistence did get me under her bra. Good conclusion, nothing special. Tipped her $60 for relenting.

Nana. Not so great. I dropped in with little time after work (and after trying Papaya. Really cute girl who was in the middle of stroking some other lucky guy and coouldn't take me right then. And then stopping at Annandale Wellness and politely declining the 50 ish skinny Korean lady (I agree that sometime older ladies can be spectacular, but I had to make a snap judgment, and this one didn't seem to have the spark),.

So, Sisters was the last chance. This time it was Nana, not Vivian (who the hell knows who is there which day). Nana is late 20's? And a little pudgy, in a strange lacy white blouse. I only went for the half hour for $50. Gave her $60 and she didn't offer change. Short time so it was quick. Soft touch, and it was going OK. But then language got in the way. She thinks she knows what to do, but she won't listen, or perhaps just does not understand. She had immediately grabbed a handful of oil, and didn't seem to understand "not yet". And when I asked about roaming, I was told $8. Meh.

It seemed to be going south, so rather than proceed, I signalled a pause, and got up and started dressing. Tried to explain politely that it seemed to be a language problem, and that it would be best for me to just go. She confirmed that she had the $10 and I left it at that. I was out in 15 minutes.

Sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Hi, I saw the "pedicure" ad about a month ago and tried it. In the past I've had a thing for going to nail salons to get a manicure or pedicure and then poking around to see if there might be extras.

I tired of that a while back because of the high failure rate.

But when I saw the pedicure offer, and saw that it was on RubnTug Row on Gallows, I thought it'd be fun to try.

I went on a weeknight around 6:00 just after work. I did not call ahead. I walked in (2nd floor). Was met by Leah, who I believe is Chines American, because she sure seemed like a native speaker, so that was good. I said I saw the Bedpage ad and asked for a pedicure. SHe said yes, they do pedicures, but I would have to call ahead so that she could "bring her equipment". So I guess they don't do too many.

Well, I wasn't there for a pedicure, so I asked for a half hour massage. Standard room setup. No shower, I believe. I prefer a shower afterwards, so I just asked for a half hour with no oil.

I had a nice conversation with Leah. She has a good sense of humor and fun to talk to. And this is all while she was giving me a nice soft touch. SHe might be a good masseuse, but I did not challenge her skills during the session. Well, not her massage skills.

She is late 20's perhaps. A few extra pounds but very nice. She was accomodating to roaming, and gave me an excellent finish. I never did get that pedicure.

I'd return. Except that I enjoy sampling around.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I saw the reviews on Rubmaps however the last review was sometime last year. Also, I could not find any new ads which made me believe they didn't post anymore. In addition they share an address with an Animal Hospital, all of that led me to believe they had gone cold which is why I posted here. Luckily, I found out that they weren't always known by the name they are now which assisted in my decision making. Def a good time, very sweet woman. Anna was not my provider, I forgot her name. Hey everyone, visited Ballston Therapeutic multiple times hoping to get a nice massage with HE, but after about 10 visits, they just won't go for it. Thanks for that. Flight was delayed so I was not able to see her this weekend, but after chatting with her on text, she is really frickin cool. I might ask for a 4 hand massage next time. I have been there 3 times, and had 2 different providers. Each had their own style, but they knew how to tease like I have never experienced before. Alright Gents, I decided to TOFTT (but not really because they've been reviewed under a different Alias). So I stopped by 8**3 for a hh massage. I was greeted by an attractive Korean woman mid 40's. I paid the house for hh which was. 6. Undressed and got a very good massage with lots of teasing. After 20 minutes she asked me to flip, and pointed to Dr. Johnson. I smiled, and nodded. Great technique. We had a great conversation during the session which I think played a part into her being so cooperative. I tipped her. 4 originally and then added. 10 because of the great service and some of it got in her hair. It had been a while. Will repeat.

For any new mongers wondering how to negotiate. I have learned over time that you don't really need to speak. If you have done your research and have found out the type of services they offer you know what they are expecting. I typically place the tip on the dresser before the session begins. I have never had any issues and they always understand what it's there for. She laughed today because she saw it before we even talked.

Interesting session yesterday. I am looking for a legit massage quality but that little extra. I went to the ballston mall and a massage place that was there previous had moved back in. I was really sore and had gone to it before it closed for renovations so I decided to take the plunge. They always had attractive girls but before there was no way anything extra was offered bc the beds were literally separated by a sheet. Now however they have built out a really big and nice space with individual rooms with a door. That was a plus.

I was led to the room and asked to disrobe. I didn't know what that meant so I asked if underwear should stay on and she said yes. There was a sheet to lay under. A different lady comes back and starts a very nice massage. I originally asked for 30 min so she asked me if I wanted to extend and I said yes. When she came back after notifying the front desk, I asked if I could take my underwear off and she said ok. I stayed technically draped the whole time but she massaged my bare butt for awhile.

I was starting to think this might be a possibility. On the flip she massages everywhere except that one area. I politely ask her if she massages there and she laughs and says no. I laugh too and was like worth a shot. She then starts making small talk and asked if I was married, age etc. She is Chinese I think bc she tells me all Chinese men are married early. She finishes up and then grabs me through the sheet and says next time. I don't know if she was just saying that or if she was serious. I will try again soon. She gives an amazing massage so if that was added I will be there every week. LOL.
