I now what you mean. I've noticed it too. It used to be just an occasional phenomenon one could easily skip past but lately it's gotten to the point it seems there are more of those ads than the legit ones, making it a lot harder to browse through. It is extremely annoying.

I doubt it is LEO doing it though. After all, what are they going to get you for unless you show up some place with some money. It's much more likely that they're simply catfishing. Some gal (or possibly guy) using fake pics and a TGTBT ad to lure you into revealing your email address (so they can then spam you with viagra ads, or pitches to join adult dating or webcam sites) or even send them money outright on the false promise that they're local and you can meet. The pitch eventually comes down to something like visit this "free" site (which you have to provide your cc# for a trial membership that automatically converts into an expensive recurring membership) so that you can see more pics of "her" or "prove to her" that YOU'RE legit. Yeah, right.
