There may be instances where a strange area code is an indication of a fraudulent ad, but this simply isn't true as a general rule.

Babylon can be legit if the ad says the girl is listed at working from a specific town or city and it has a legit area code like 781 or 508, but anything with a ridiculous area code like 541 is going to be a Fraudulent Ad. Especially when the girl looks too good to be true and it says she is Asian and they show you a blonde you have to wonder" Who is minding the store " ? Typically if you call the number from your burner phone (Tracphone) it will tell you "the person you are trying to reach has not set up a voice mailbox" and in a few minutes you get a text back to call a completely different number and it is redirecting you to a Chat line or something else like an advert to buy Viagra from an overseas pharmacy. There are many fake ads which a novice could buy into and that is what they are hoping for. Infact about 90 percent of the ads on there are useless. Where I can I check of the box that says "Miscategorized" and then it wants my IP address and I tell them the ad is misleading. It's like when you email back a woman who answers your CL post and she has a G mail address, that is a sure give away that she is not for real. I challenge them and ask them to" tell me the date"? If they are real and sure enough they will send back day / month, year because they are overseas.

There is mostly spam for sure but there are real ones there too. Not as easy to deal with and prices are sometimes a joke. I try to narrow my search in the search engine to try to get the spam to minimum and the comments section of. Anyone. Are annoying I miss craigslist.

I agree that currently there is a large percentage of obvious spam on there. I went on vacation 2 weeks ago. It was not this way when I left but I noticed it right when I got back. 5-10 x the number of crap ads. I find the ones that have the legitimate city / town names are still generally ok but even those have some spam in there. It's a pain because now you have go through many more pages just to find a reasonable ad or 2. Almost at the point where I'm not interested in the overhead but the 'real' ones are still there. Just covered a bit and we have to work harder to find them. Sucks.

I tend to stick to the Escort Babylon section of List Crawler. The reviewed girls seem mostly legit.

Listcrawler has been nothing but hot garbage for me so far. I haven't met a single non-scammer on there yet. Which is a shame, since it feels like it would be a great resource. I really want to get together with someone tomorrow night, but the sites I've been using just aren't promising.

Generally speaking, I think it's pretty legit. Area codes mean nothing nowadays. I peruse LC (or if you prefer "Escort Babylon") constantly, the same way I read these forums. There is some weird stuff (like the provider who was constantly posting that she was stuck at a friend's and needed a ride home), but it's entertaining. I only really know one provider (who shall remain nameless) who regularly posts on LC but she has pointed out other escorts that she has seen working at her location or that she knows personally. Sometimes, but rarely, a girl will start commenting on her own posts, which can be a hoot. I happened to notice this Escort today, who has been commenting a lot:

You'll probably find a lot more info on providers in your area on either Lowell or Machester boards. Nashua is closer but it seems to be most NH info ends up on Manchester board.
