I'm sure there is some truth to that but there is also the group who are not in a position to get a good paying job, so are those really content with working 40 hours a week at $15-20/ hour when they are used to making $200-300/ hour cash. At a minimum you'd think they'd still be entertaining part time to supplement their income.

There's nothing in Ann Arbor that's worth your time. Ann Arbor is dead and not what it used to be like back in the Craigslist days. Your best bet is to browse the Detroit or Toledo forums. I could point you to a few suggestions in Toledo if you want to PM me. The drive is the same distance to there from Ann Arbor as if you were driving into Detroit. The only way to find anything worthwhile in A2 is if you have the time and money for Seeking Arrangement. I've had lots of luck with it but it takes time and it's not for the cheap.
